KANUMBA KTK BBA

Nini maoni yako kuhusu mjadala huu?

  6. lieve, 15 September, 2009

kanumba umejitahidi ila unahitaji kujiendeleza english kimtindo ili siku ukichaguliwa tena uwafunike na kuwafunga midomo hao wanaochonga juu yako.otherwise umejitahidi kiukweli. but ndo hivyo tena si unajua ukitaka kujua zaidi ni lazima ukosolewe?? na pale ulipokesea ni lazima urekebishwe ili ujirekebishe au siyo wakwetu.kama vipi nakupa big up!!!!!!!!’
uko juu kimtindo nakupa moyo bro

  7. miram3, 16 September, 2009

Folks , i think in this day and age it would be great to be realistic with issues. To suggest that there was no issue with Kanumba,(especially if you went through the clips)really that alone tells me we have got tons of issues here to deal with . Personally i think that is nothing but being naive.
Kanumba’s bombshell goes without saying. No argument that his language performance kills in that event went from mediocre to naive and so erratic .Kanumba is my celebrity and there no doubt when it comes down to acting Knumba is way off the hook.He is extremely gifted,It would be unfair not to give him his due complements .I would always admire his natural talent and am so proud of his work.Ofcourse i also recognise that whatever it is that hes been doing is not all that. He’s got some serious learning to do so he can get off “A LA NOLLYWOOD” hook .I wish i had more time to discuss bout NOLLYWOOD AND HOW IT RUINS UPCOMING TALENTS IN TANZANIA” Am afraid this would get me off the point i was trying to get accross.
Kanumba this one is for you, my brother.Your English performance on that event was a disaster,in my opinion.Kanumba,am all for you since way back in the 90’s and am continuing to support you.But to tell you the truth i was, just like many other fans too, caught a little offguard and shocked with your English skills.Ofcourse am not suggesting that English skills is averything for that matter.Kanumba it would be better to recognise that there is a clear line that’s seperating ACCENT from POOR ENGLISH.Speaking with AMERICAN ACCENT is onething and the actual ability to speak ENGLISH as a LANGUAGE is another.I personally and certainly believe that folks were blasting you with a firestorm of criticism and anything that could ever come out of there mouths beacause of your poor english skills and certainly not beacuse of accent.Does it matter? .To them i would say guarantee. That goes without saying, especially if you read along their lines.Personally, i would say it depends.
Kanumba whatever went down on you in that house,it would be reckless of you to ignore the overwelming reaction of your fans.It does not always has to go your favourite way or flattering ,especially if it came from your fans.Understand that we all love you,we are proud of your work but some of us obviously would express this from a diffrent perspective. But certainly it all comes down to the fact that we like you.
Weather there is a serious issue here to spark this size of a backlash,it depends on the individuals. However to deny that your English performance in the house was not a nightmare,i certainly belive that, that alone is an issue. And this goes to all folks who have watched you in the clips and apparently, they saw nothing but a flawless performance wothy of your fans’praises.
In my opinion, whatever went down on you that night would not take away my sleep. Its OK to make mistakes ,not a big issue under normal circumstatnces. My issue here is that hundreds of reactions to your drama is so overwelming and that ,in my opinion should be enough to tell you something.Dont tell me that with literally floods of criticism like that ,in their hundreds virtually from all corners ,that there is no issue with your performance.Dont ever suggest that knolwledge of English (atleast spoken)does not matter.Personally i would say with capital letters after watching the clips ,folks may say whatever hipocricy they please ,but to me its official. You gotta learn the language. For a celebrity of your calibre, functional english skills would be an asset especially if you are dreaming of going global down the road.
Some folks went to the point of suggesting that to cricise kanumba shows lack of patriotism, personal hatred, jealousy etc .Personally i would advice Kanumba not to pay the tiniest attention to this crap.Period.Why? Because criticism does not necessarily come from jealousy or lack of patriotism. There is absolute a clear line between the two. To me folks who would not criticise an erratic behavior for fear of affending somebody definately should not be spared a room in any meaningful endevour.
These are the ppl who have brought Tanzania to rock bottom. When are we going to learn to be sincere in our opinions when it comes to dealing with interpersonal issues? most importatnt issues that affect our life regardless of the degree of significance .Am talking about INCENCERE COMPLENTS especially when our stars ,athletes, politicians etc are involved
It would be constractive always to provide sincere complements or opinions if you will. The stakes are obvious. The era of zipping up your lips while erratic behavior/issues are spinning out of control is happening under the watch is over.Fear of offending or hurting somebody, to this effect is a crap and shold be totally irrelevant .Why? It’s the stakes and the cost that matter. When it comes to incencere complents Tanzanians are way over the top. This has continued to happen repeatedly over decades to the point where it has virtually become part of our culture. In my opinion this behavior has contributed greatly to ruining the performance of our stars/reps in the global affairs. Now Kanumba’s issue would fit perfectly into this.Kanumba yours in not a perfect storm yet.you are so used to heavy showers of incencere complements or atleast whatever praises folks smeared on you have always been one sided. This time around, your moment of truth has come to bite you.Guess its all for a good reason though.please understand that we all love you and that we are so proud that you are shining our star wherever you go always .However flaws are inevitable down the road.Whenever issues happen, understand that is not the end of the world.Do not throw in the towel yet.Atleast not quite yet,you have got tones of potentials for yourself and those of the whole film industry.Shake the dust off yourself .Now the storm is over get yourself off the debris and move ahead to continue the battle
Your our star and we love your talent and you as a person that’s why we would not remain mum to anything that would stain your god given gift cause we care bout it.I would ask you to learn not to be naive and its not too late to learn how to look at issues from a diffrent perpective too.Whatever went down on you was a moment truth.Learn to live and deal with it.Incencere complements would ruin your career.

  15. maochieng, 21 September, 2009

“WE DONT HAVE ‘APETITE’ TO STUDY BECAUSE NOWHERE TO SEE SCIENCE EXPERIMENT” tukimrejea Kanumba tunaweza kuona ni zao la kizazi kipya ambacho kwao kujisomea ni kama simba kulazimishwa kula majani. Kanumba ni Supastaa ambaye atatutoa Bongo kimataifa. Jamani English ina ugumu gani kujifunza?

  16. chapombe, 21 September, 2009

wabongo na kizungu kaaazi kwelikweli, nakwambia nilkaa na mtu mmoja akapita msichana mrembo, akaona ampe sifa zake, akamwambia”you have beautiful milk”,yaani hapo ndio amemsifia ana matiti mazuri.mi nikikumbuka mpaka kesho nacheka peke yangu.hiyo ni sawa na kanumba, kusema “i am closing”,mi ningekuwepo nisingevumilia kucheka

  17. benne, 22 September, 2009

Mnaomsuta Kanumba fanyeni yenu, tuyaone, tupendezwe nayo kisha tuige mfano. Mkishajua kuongea kizungu baaaaaasi mmemaliza. Kujua kwenu kumewafikisha wapi au mko majumbani mnaangalia TV za baba zenu halafu mnajishaua tu. Shame upon you!!!!!
Piga kazi mzee kwani wote uliokuwa nao walikuelewa vizuri kabisa.

  18. mammy, 26 September, 2009

jamani kama kakosea lazima aambiwe nyie hapo juu mnatetea upumbavu huo aloufanya kanumba!!!! startin with u mnajifanya english is nothing wakati wenyewe mna argue kwa lugha hiyo..sasa nyie ndo wachoyo wa maendeleo..mhimu si kumkejeli ila kumpa direction nini afanye na si kupoteza mda kusafisha…this country bwana eti wasanii nao wanajipanga kuandamana eti kisa kanumba kaambiwa hajui kiingereza sasa hapo mnamsafisha au mnazidi kumdhalilisha mwenenu…
kwa kufika BBA hongera ila next tym kanumba ukumbuke kuwa kula mashindano yanavigezo sio kuvamia tu

  19. FM, 27 September, 2009

Watanzania tuache ushamba, kiingereza sio lugha yetu. kumbuka kuna wasanii wengi wa kimataifa hawajui kiingereza, mfano Miss China alishinda Miss World kwa kuongea kichina na kutafsiriwa. Huyu dogo kanumba hana hela ya kumlipa mkalimani, aliongea mwenyewe na message was sent. Sasa mnalalamika nini.

Umuhimu uko kwenye mada anazoongea. Mbona Latoya alikuwa anaongea viingereza pumba tupu! English is my forth language(after my father, mother tongue and swahili), muhimu awe nondo tu! Nawakilisha

  21. vanessa, 06 October, 2009

  27. naima, 22 January, 2012

Nasita kumpongeza, pia siwalaumu wanaombeza, maana naamini wanamtakia mema,I may say that they are giving him a negative reinforcement so that he may improve his English.
